Workouts From Around The Web!

Well Zuzka posted another free workout on her FB page today - and it is another great one. I love how she does this!
Her latest Summer Shred #17 - it also another great hard core workout. These workouts alone are worth the 10 a month IMO. She does a great job with these.

One of my readers - (thanks Mira!) told me about Jen Heward - some of you may really like her as well. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEZFthvYvvd5giJmYrvfa6g

I have not had a chance to watch much of her yet - but she looks like a lot of fun. She has made a huge transformation herself. Anyone else use her workouts?

I know BR.TV is more than half way (?) through their Advanced Boot camp, but I have not really paid any attention to it. I have looked briefly through some of the workouts, Day 11 looked hard... one of my readers said that the vest makes the workouts harder, but she was using a 10 lb vest, not the 6 lb one. I tried the vest once and found the thing annoying and hot.

I've been experimenting with some of my own workouts myself the past couple of days and they have been great. When I have more time I will write them out for you guys. Since back from vacation I'm so short on time!

Have any of you used the toneitup.com workouts? A friend of mine recommended their website. It is run my 2 very-in-shape looking women. Again, I haven't had the time to check it out yet, but I thought I would pass it along.

And here is something else I found:

Some of you who want to workout at home, are short on time - and want tough workouts - check out that link above. It might be right up your alley!

Enjoy your workouts everyone!

  1. Hi!! I weighed with my vest on and it is actually 8 lbs. I do not know, but i thought i was in great shape but these BR Adv. workouts are kicking my tush! I do not know if it is the 50/10 or the vest. It must be the vest but i do not feel like wasting time doing the workouts without the vest. Yesterday i doubled the workout using the cardio first round then the strength and i am sore all over. Today i am going to do Zuzka's Summer shred with the vest on and see how it goes. I did one of Z' old BR workouts Sunday using the vest and did not find it as hard at all ,but it is was nice for a sunday. I will play around with different workouts and see how i like using it.

  2. Tone it up workouts are great for beginners I think...The vest looks very expensive to me,so..I have to look up for another alternative :)

  3. I love Tone It Up's (ridicously expensive) complete nutrition program and follow that, their workouts are very high rep, combo moves and what women THINKS will give them toned non-bulky bodies.
I like Jen Heward, but I truely LOVE Nikki Blackketter, who is also on YouTube - i often do her workouts and follow her diet information :)

  4. Yeah, those vests are expensive. I got mine for under $20.00 at Play it again sports. It is not bulky and it is snug and does not get in my way. I did Summer Shred 17 and used the vest for the whole workout. It is definitely the vest taking the intensity up. Also, the 50/10's is a different type of intensity and I had to pause and take my breath through part 2 just as i did through Bodyrock. Actually the whole workout i had to take breathers. The pull ups combo took me forever. I do not plan to do all pull up practice with vest, but i figure it may help with strength. This is my first time trying Bodyrock and i have looked at other workouts from them and this Adv. one is the only one I like so far. Not sure if i will do anymore after this challenge.

  5. I freaking love Jen Heward! She is my spirit animal, and by far, my favourite fitness girl. =D I have been following her since last year. I haven´t done any of her workouts, however, I get inspired by her, and I use some of her tips on my own workouts.

I have ran into Tone It Up-girls a few times, but somehow I feel like their stuff is too girly for me. =D

  6. I'm 5'10" and 145, and normally I have an insane problem with all capris. Granted, these are not the longest capris I've ever owned, but these stylish workout clothes are infinitely better than everything I've ever ordered online.
