6 Pack Abs Core Finisher!

I do have part of this core workout filmed up on my FB page.

I picked these exercises because not only will they make your abs feel like they are on fire, but because they also build core strength.
These exercises will help you become stronger in your every day life, more flexible and yes help you look better too.

Start with farmer walks (not filmed). Pick up a heavy dumbbell or heavy kettlebell and take 50 steps. Switch it to your opposite side and take 50 more steps. I typically use 40-50 lbs. Keep good posture! You'll be surprised how hard your obliques work here.
Picking up heavy things and carrying them around builds overall body strength in many ways!

Next try some waiter walks (not filmed). Again pick up a heavy dumbbell or kettlebell and carry it overhead for 50 steps. Switch it to your opposite side and take another 50 steps. Make sure you lock out your elbow and your shoulder joints (but not hyper extend!) and that your lat muscles are also engaged. Draw your ribs in and take deep breaths. This should not be easy. I typically use 35 lbs.

Next you can follow the video on my FB page. I just show a small sample of each exercise:

Chest fly crunch- you can use weights, but I often choose not to as a finisher depending on what I did for upper body that day or if I practiced handstands
Dead bugs - again you can use weights, straight arms extend overhead and you extend ONE leg, keep lower back pressing down.
Sit up and stretch - I love these! Full sit up and then stretch over your legs as these give your hammie's and lower back a great stretch.

50/10 of the last 3 exercises, 1-3 rounds.
