Check out my latest video on my FB page https://www.facebook.com/zuzanaorbodyrockaddict/?ref=bookmarks. Yep, going back to the Jane Fonda days, but a great Glute finisher or booty routine for the day. Do this routine three times through, no rest between exercises, and no rest between rounds. Burn baby burn!
25 glute raises
15 fire hydrants
10 plank leg raises
Each side 3x through
Ok, if any of you are interested in trying to be Strong by Bret program, it is free for two weeks (strongbybret.com). A new series of exercises starts tomorrow, Monday. Exercises have posted today and you can get started as early as tomorrow. I have found him to be life-changing as far as workouts go, my strength, and the way my body looks!
You do need access to a gym, and the exercises can be fairly technical, but he does an awesome job of explaining the exercises and gives great videos of each.
He does exercises like deadlifts, squats, push-ups, pull-ups, bench presses, military presses, bulgarian split squats, hip thrusters, sumo walks, etc, etc. Heavy weights most of the time, other times, high reps. This month the focus is on hip thrusters. BOOTY time!
Did anyone do Zuzka's latest Stretch & Tone workout? It reminded me a bit of the BARRE craze lately or do I dare say it - kind of Tracy Anderson like. I do not know if I liked it. And those crazy pink socks?! Socks like that are typically for women who do things like Crossfit to protect their shins during boxjumps and deadlifts, ummmm, not for barre work, LOL. But Z's easier routines are probably a nice break for some folks and stretching it out is important - IMO. I think people overlook flexibility and its role in athletics and health much of the time. I like that Z keeps it fresh and part of exercise each and every week.
