As it states in the article, you should NOT let your elbows flare out, and you should NOT turn your fingers inward. These 2 incorrect ways remind me of how Lisa often used to do her push-ups. I don't know if she does them that way anymore. I stopped following BR.TV altogether.
When I get tired from push-ups, my chest goes up and down just fine, but my hips do not. I struggle moving my whole body in a plank. Work in progress! It helps if I remember to touch my nose to the ground and REALLY and I mean REALLY squeeze my glutes.
Kellie Hart Davis (If you are not following her on FB or Instagram I HIGHLY recommend it - she gives some seriously GREAT workout tips) recommends you set up for push ups on your knees - open your shoulder blades, tuck your tail, squeeze your glutes, THEN lift your knees off the ground before performing any reps. It completely helps getting into proper form!
I am interested in following the www.100pushups.com/ push up program to get better at them overall.
There are lots of programs out there, but this is one of the better out there IMO. It is very step by step with logical progressions.
KELLIE also runs Get Glutes - and I love this program: www.getglutes.com for a 14 day free trial. NO I do not get any commissions off of this.
They are having a huge sale:

I watched Zuzka's 5 minute workout this morning and I liked it. She is now coupling her 5 minute Fridays with a high intensity workout. She is doing this to take things up a notch. I swear sometimes she reads my blog! LOL. I was just saying how she was taking it easy lately - doing a lot more stretching and Bar Method, and then this week she decides to do a double on Fridays. It looks like this is going to be a regular thing. I originally thought that the Upper Body Inferno was a new workout, but it is a repeat from last week (thanks for pointing that out Vegan Yamur).
I guess she might have felt the need herself to have one more high intensity day with all the other stretchy days she was having?
And here are 15 cool nutrition tips. I can't relate to all of them, but I certainly found this to be an interesting read!

#5 made me laugh out loud.
#6 and #12 made the most sense.
Happy Reading!

I'm 5'8" 140-145 lbs and the small is perfect. They're fairly high waisted as well so I'm confident they will stay put. Can't wait to try the workout tights out in yoga class tomorrow! If there are any performance issues I will let you know.
