Zuzka's Upper Body & Abs Inferno Workout #1

Zuzka posted her latest workout series today.

What did you guys think?

It definitely looks like it is a good burn for the upper body and abs. It was not what I was expecting though.
The workout was broken down into 2 parts - one was the workout part, and then the other was all stretching. She is REALLY into stretching these days. It's like 5 out of her 7 workouts focus on stretching.
Here is a glimpse:

Part 1
1. Shoulder packing on a pull up bar x 10
2. Hardcore egg on exercise ball x 10
3. Plank row push up x 10
4. Hanging knee raises x 10
5. L – slide push up x 5/5
6. Plank slide / frog slide x 10 alt
(2 rounds)
Part 2
1. Counter stretch
2. Downdog dynamic stretch x 10
3. Hip flexor stretch
4. One leg seated forward bend stretch x 2 on each leg
5. Bridge (wheel pose) to seated forward bend x 5
6. Wide legged seated kinesiological stretching
7. Extended puppy pose
8. Shoulder stretch with yoga blocks
9. Laying spine twist

I don't like to post like this anymore because I don't want to get into trouble, but take a look above at the listed exercises.
I also just noticed that other than her not posting #20 of Summer Shred this week, Zuzka did not have a Slider Workout this week either. She did however use the sliders in this workout.
There was no actual handstand work in the workout. She did however give us handstand homework - to practice handstands against the wall 3x a day.

  1. it's another upperbody series like black diamond. and I think she didn't post sshred 20 because they were almost all at the same format. 1st part legs,2nd jr and kb, then pull up and balance ball. but she will put new workouts in summershred when she have new ideas. but what I found is that she starts a new series with confidence, but then no new ideas coming in her head so she makes some of the workouts of the series similar. and just like black diamond series, the series ends quickly. I dont want new series, I want workouts that she does what she wants. this is why I loved cardio shred the most. theres no restriction, she can do jump rope she can do kettlebell, or dumbell, or pul up or bodyweiht, whatver she wants, so the workout end up being awesome.

  2. If you are like many people you want to feel better, have more energy, and even extend your life expectancy. If that is you look no further than old-fashioned exercise for the solution. Jennifer
